The BAG Wohnungslosenhilfe (BAGW) is a nationwide umbrella organization of institutions and social services in aid of the homeless, as well as the social organizations in the private and public sector that work with the homeless. Our members represent approximately 1,200 service providers and institutions for homeless women and men. These include mobile units offering specialist advice, supported housing, general homes and living quarters, projects for young adults, business operations and projects for professional and occupationally relevant qualifications and integration.
The BAGW not only supports people when they have already lost their homes, but also tries to provide advice and support in advance, so that the homes can be saved or alternatives can be found immediately.
