Kindernothilfe was founded in 1959, in order to help Indian children in need. Kindernothilfe is currently the largest Christian children's charity established in Europe. Today Kindernothilfe helps over 568,000 girls and boys through over 1000 projects in 28 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
