Oxfam today funds aid projects in over 100 countries in partnership with over 3,000 local organizations. These include aid activities such as the supply of drinking water in crisis regions and during natural desasters, as well as social and economical development through long-term project work and important educational work on developmental political subjects via various campaigns. This combination of project and campaign work is characteristic of all Oxfam organisations. In this way we want to show that education about structural causes of poverty is as important for successfully fighting global poverty, as is the actual aid on the ground.
