Moeckl, Carl Mertens
Designer: Ernst Moeckl
The clear, direct design of Moeckl exaclty suits the current Zeitgeist. The cutlery is of medium length and stands out with its soft forms, round contours and optimal functionality. The surfaces of the spoons, the forks and knives are large and have flat, rounded edges - to facilitate the intake of dishes. The handles have a comfortable, stable lie in the hand. The knife handle deviates from the soft form-language of the set: since it is not moved to the mouth, Ernst Moeckl gave it a pointed handle that is curved inwards. Furthermore, depressions in the handle guarantee optimal, secure handling.
